Never refreeze a meal once it has thawed. To serve, bring it to room temperature or warm it slightly, never hot. We don't recommend microwaving from frozen.

Why no refreezing?

Once a pack has thawed, its 4-day fridge clock has started. Freezing it again does not reset that clock, and thawing twice also affects the freshness and texture of the meal. So a thawed pack stays in the fridge at 3 to 8 °C and is used within 4 days.

Thawed more than you can use?

How to warm it gently

  1. Start with a fully thawed portion from the fridge.
  2. Take the chill off: stir in a splash of warm (not hot) water, or a little warmed Soluky bone broth.
  3. Stir well so the temperature is even.
  4. Check before serving. It should feel lukewarm, never hot.

Slightly warm food smells stronger, which many picky eaters love. See tips for picky eaters.

What about the microwave?

We don't recommend microwaving from frozen. If you warm food any other way, warm it gently, stir it and always check it is not hot before it goes in the bowl.

Packs that arrive soft or thawed must not be refrozen either. Follow what to do if your order arrives soft and contact us within 48 hours.
