Your first 10 minutes
- Bring the box inside and open it soon after it arrives. Keep it out of the sun, especially in summer.
- Check the packs are frozen. If they arrived soft or thawed, don't refreeze them: take a photo and see My food arrived soft or thawed.
- Freeze the meals and broths. Lay packs flat and stack them, grouped by recipe.
- Move one meal pack to the fridge. It needs about 12 hours to thaw, so it's ready for your pet's first Soluky meal tomorrow.
- Check the contents against your order confirmation email or the Orders tab in your dashboard.
- Put the treats away in a cool, dry place, sealed.
Never thaw on the counter. Once thawed, keep the pack in the fridge between 3°C and 8°C, use it within 4 days, and never refreeze it.
What happens next
Tomorrow, your thawed pack is ready and the switch begins. Start by mixing a small amount into your pet's current food: see Your first week for a day-by-day plan.
