Cats are more sensitive to food changes, so we switch them over 14 days, starting with just 10% Soluky. Picky or sensitive cats do better on our gentle 21-day plan.
Standard 14-day plan
| Days | Soluky | Current food |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | 10% | 90% |
| 3 to 4 | 25% | 75% |
| 5 to 6 | 50% | 50% |
| 7 to 8 | 75% | 25% |
| 9 to 14 | 100% | 0% |
Watch your cat during the last stage and ease back to 75% if needed.

Before day 1
- Move your first pack from the freezer to the fridge the day before. It needs 12 hours to thaw.
- Start with one recipe. Purrfect Chicken is the usual first pick; Purrfect Lamb if your cat must avoid chicken (Purrfect Fish contains chicken liver).
- Pause extra treats so your cat comes to meals hungry.
Tips for cautious cats
- Mix the new food in well, especially at 10% and 25%.
- Serve at room temperature or slightly warmed, never straight from the fridge. Warmth releases aroma.
- Offer a little Soluky bone broth over the bowl.
- Try a few bites from your finger first.
- Keep meal times regular and do not keep offering alternatives.
- If your cat hesitates, stay at the current stage a few more days. Slow is fine.
A cat that refuses food for more than 24 hours needs to see a vet. Do not wait it out. Also contact your vet for ongoing vomiting, loose stools continuing after the transition, or weight loss.
